Como me tornei uma Dominatrix profissional | Ep. 9

Mistress Kaizen

Dec 15, 2025

I share My personal journey to becoming Mistress Kaizen, sharing how I evolved over 14 years of BDSM practice, 7 years as a professional dominatrix, and the lessons of empathy, trust, and self-discovery along the way.

Every story has a beginning, and Mine starts long before BDSM formally entered my life.

A different childhood

From an early age, I always found a lot of comfort in My own company. I spent a large part of My free time immersed in My own interests and hobbies, and I clearly remember a constant curiosity in observing the people around Me, the way they behaved, moved, communicated, their gestures, their body language. I always had a very solid sense of Myself, but I also always felt, in some way, a bit apart from society, as if My worldview, My ethics, and My morals followed a slightly different path from what I saw around Me. I knew I needed to find a way to fit in, even without agreeing with all the social norms and expectations I saw, and it was that very curiosity that later made human beings (and their power dynamics) so fascinating to Me.

Discovering BDSM as a space for expression

I have always been a very creative person, and throughout My growth I found different ways to express that creativity; eventually, BDSM ended up becoming one of those spaces. It was here that I finally found a place where I could genuinely be Myself, without judgment, and where certain sadistic impulses and the peace of controlling everything and everyone, which I had felt all along, finally made sense, instead of feeling "wrong" or outside the norm.

From hobby to profession

I have been practicing BDSM for 14 years, and for 7 years professionally (2025), a choice that was conscious, well-thought-out, and had many implications to consider, but one that I still consider the best decision I have ever made in My life. I cannot see Myself doing anything else besides everything involved in being a professional dominatrix, including hosting this podcast.

What I learned in 14 years as a Dominatrix

What evolved the most in Me over these years was not technique; it was empathy. This work taught Me to have genuine care for people with whom, initially, I would not have had any automatic personal connection, and to build spaces of absolute trust with submissives and slaves who trust Me to explore parts of themselves that they may have never shared with anyone else. I feel that BDSM gave Me a safe place to be Myself, and to be celebrated for it, rather than judged. It is also a job that provides Me with constant access to people with completely different experiences and knowledge from My own, even while being on opposite sides of the power dynamic, and that, to Me, is one of the richest and most rewarding parts of all this.

To this day, I am always looking to learn more, whether through books, courses, conversations with other experienced professionals, or simply through constant practice, session after session.

In the episode, I share the full story, with much more detail about the key moments that brought Me here, including what I continue to learn, year after year, about Myself through this work.
